We grow an assortment of mixed vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers on a 2.5-acre plot using natural soil amendments, certified organic compost, and row covers for insect protection.
To ensure maximum shelf life, we harvest and package our products as close to delivery as possible. Our farm produces everything from spring greens and lettuce to seasonal fruits, cruciferous vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, and root crops.
Fresh, affordable bouquets are a core part of our business. We offer standard sizes along with our popular tabletop bouquets, bringing vibrant color to homes throughout the Oxford Hills area.
Our season begins in late May with asparagus and spring greens, continuing through September as the fall vine crops ripen. As always, sustainable farming practices and exceptional service remain the foundation of our business.
January marks the beginning of our season as we order seeds and finalize our garden layouts. We also take this time to inventory our essential growing and marketing supplies. By February, we are out in the field pruning our fruit bushes and trees.
Once the calendar flips to March, the growing season begins in earnest with onions, celery, and other cool-weather crops. Planting continues at a high pace through mid-June, eventually shifting toward successional planting and fall-harvest crops.
This season, we are trialing several new varieties:
Shin Kuroda Carrot: A smooth, 3–5" root with wide shoulders and a tiny core.
Zeppo Beet: A round beet with a small taproot, perfect for bunching.
Red Tail Green Bean: A slender bean reaching 5–6" in length.
Oldenbor Kale: Similar to Vates kale, which was unfortunately unavailable this year.
Premium Green Pea: An early producer of 3–3.5" pods, each containing 7–8 sweet, high-quality peas (a great alternative while our favorite "Green Arrow" variety remains unavailable.
To keep our bouquets fresh and vibrant, we have also added several new flower colors and varieties to our lineup. We look forward to a bountiful 2026 season and hope to provide the high-quality local harvest you’re looking for!
